LivLab Studios is an Albuquerque-based modular home company owned by a builder and architect team. The company designs and builds small modular units — typically described as tiny homes, casitas, or ADUs — that arrive on-site in one or two modules and are set on permanent foundations.

The company primarily serves the Albuquerque metro, where it is licensed and familiar with the city’s ADU and casita permitting process. LivLab now bundles site prep and permitting services alongside the home itself, which simplifies HELOC and construction-loan draw processes. As of May 2026, delivery within the ABQ metro area costs approximately $8,000 (inclusive of transport, crane, and crew). Projects outside the metro area carry higher delivery fees. Site preparation and permitting add roughly $25,000 to a typical project.
